January 2025 begins with a big bang with the first major Hollywood event of the year — the 82nd Golden Globes.

There were feminine and romantic sightings of pastel-perfect creations. Preciousness blings it on no more as jewelry display glittered with simplicity compared to past scene stealers. There were some big statements but it was the treasured and priceless minimum that mattered most — swan-like necks were almost bare!

The mane attraction was mostly in a bun, ponytail or short — the only haute way this season was up.

The looks generally were like an ode to Old Hollywood, back to basics. A handful of stunning and breathtaking vintage gowns and legendary brands fashioned modern retro appeal.
