Operatives from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) arrested three most wanted persons in separate operations over the weekend, officials said Monday.
Acting director Col. Melecio Buslig Jr. said the District Anti-Carnapping Unit, in coordination with Project 4 Police Station, arrested Alfred Laguna at Anilao Proper, Batangas, on 29 December.
Laguna, the No. 1 most wanted person of Project 4 Police Station, was wanted on a warrant for statutory rape issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 89 in Quezon City.
Last 28 December, Galas Police Station arrested James Tamayo along G. Araneta Avenue in Quezon City. Tamayo, the No. 9 most wanted person of the station, was wanted on a warrant for robbery with serious physical injuries issued by RTC Branch 75 in Olongapo City.
