BAGUIO CITY — A member of the Regional Mobile Force Batallion-15 of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera and four others were collared after allegedly being involved in a shooting incident where two were reportedly killed on Christmas Eve in Maddela, Quirino.
The suspects were identified as Patrolman Dave Macanas, alias “John,” alias “Fred,” alias “Allen” and alias “Manong.” They are said to be residents of Itogon, Benguet.
Other individuals said to be residents of Maddela, Quirino were identified by their aliases as “Roel,” “Mike” and “Johnny.” Another two suspects were identified as alias “Rey” from Tokukan, Tinoc, Ifugao and “Manny” from Banaue, Ifugao. Manny managed to escape.
The victims allegedly shot at Villa Norte Maddela, Quirino on the said date were all residents of Maddela. The fatalities were identified as EJ Rodriguez and Crisel Cayong. Four other individuals injured in the shooting incident were identified as June Dave Sebastian, Mike Ramos, Edward, and “Kesha.”
Based on the report, the two groups were inside a resto bar when they engaged in a fight. Shots erupted resulting in the death of two and injury to their companions.
