Over the years, there are restaurants and hotels that have become Pinoy showbiz’s favorite venues for media conferences and other events. Almost for 10 years now, the seeming number-one favorite is Limbaga 77 Cafe Restaurant in Quezon City whose name is the exact address of the restaurant. The establishment is actually almost at the corner of Tomas Morato Avenue. It is celebrating its 10th anniversary this December, and it is open today, 25 December, Christmas Day.

Limbaga 77 is unfazed by quick-passing food trends and, thus, continues to entice new guests with traditional local specialties like kare-kare, sinigang na salmon, adobong tadyang ng baka and pancit bihon. But it also serves an assortment of classics with twists, such as Stuffed Bulaklak ng Kalabasa, Sinigang na Baka sa Pakwan, Baked Lechon Paksiw and Stuffed Laing.

For a touch of sweetness, Limbaga 77 offers specially crafted cakes suitable for any occasion. Its latest treat is the creamy, fruity, layered Buena Mango. Shareable portions can also be enjoyed for festive banquets as select signature dishes are available in the buffet sets.

For inquiries, contact (02) 8374-3509 or 0926-715 8134. The restaurant may also be reached via Facebook, Instagram and TikTok (@Limbaga77Restaurant).

Around the peak of the Christmas 2024, Viva Records decided to launch its latest affiliate, Wild Dream Records, co-founded by singer-composer Marion Aunor with showbiz magnate Vic del Rosario of Viva Communications, Inc.

Aunor is the daughter of former singer-actor Lala Aunor, first cousin of Superstar Nora Aunor.

If Wild Dream were a person, they would be that artsy friend who throws the coolest parties, mixes genres like cocktails, and always has the next big thing on their playlist.

Here’s a whirlwind tour of the eclectic crew turning dreams into chart-toppers under the Wild Dream banner:

Matt Wilson is billed as The Beat Whisperer. When Wilson steps into the studio, magic happens. Known for his hypnotic beats and lush arrangements, he has been making waves in the indie-electronic scene, earning accolades for his album that topped several music charts, especially with his single “Alitaptap.” His artistry feels like a sonic hug — warm, unexpected and unforgettable.

Minimal Days is actually a solo act dubbed as the “Master of Mood” even as the singer-composer is proof that less is more. His dreamy, minimalist soundscapes evoke a quiet power that’s found its way into the playlists of introspective night owls everywhere. Recently, his hit single “Gunita Na” landed on the soundtrack of many as the song cements a nostalgic feeling that everybody can relate to.

Pecado is known as “The Dark Charmers” because their voices are as smooth as midnight and their lyrics seem to pierce the soul. Pecado’s main vocalist is the moody crooner who makes heartbreak sound dangerously alluring. His genre-bending tracks have amassed streams as he was hailed as “raw vulnerability set to a beat” by his supporters.

Preza are “The Firestarters” as their performances and heartfelt lyrics are reportedly setting stages ablaze, so to speak. Despite being new to the OPM scene, they are a true rebel with a cause as their debut single “Saksi” is certainly an anthem for the hopeless romantics.

Bianca Denise is labeled as “The Soulful Poet” because poetry is said to be what happens when she picks up a guitar and pours her heart into every chord. Her acoustic ballads, infused with delicate storytelling, her debut single “Ihahatid” undeniably brings out the warmth of an embrace.

Midnight Talking offers groovy basslines, infectious hooks, and a splash of retro charm. The band knows how to get a crowd moving. Its energetic blend of funk and pop is certainly to watch out for, proving that a spatter of disco and the new wave of OPM makes the scene more appealing to the music lovers.

Wild Dreams Records is dreams realized and beats amplified. The new company isn’t just a label; it’s a family of artists bound by a shared vision to make music that resonates, challenges and inspires.

Under Marion’s fearless leadership, the label has become a creative playground for boundary-pushing artistry. And if their current roster is any indication, Wild Dream Records is just getting started.

So, what’s next? More hits, more headliners and more reasons to hit replay. Stay tuned, because this wild dream is only getting wilder.
