The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) — under the leadership of director Jaime Santiago — conducted a special Christmas season relief initiative on Monday to bring hope and comfort to families affected by recent typhoons.
Stressing the importance of unity and kindness during challenging times, and recognizing the true essence of the Christmas season, Santiago decided to redirect the agency’s Christmas party budget toward a meaningful cause by sending help to typhoon victims.
Instead of holding its Christmas party at the Philippine International Convention Center as originally planned, the NBI opted for a simple yet fun and worthwhile celebration at the Filinvest Building parking space and allocated its resources to procure goods to be donated.
A ceremonial donation of relief goods and toys to the Department of Social Welfare and Development was conducted on Monday at the Filinvest Cyberzone, Pasay City.
