DAVAO CITY — The Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) has conducted a drug test for drivers and conductors as they aim for zero incidents during this Holiday Season.
“We did a drug test to our bus drivers and conductors last October for the Undas and we are proud to say we have zero positive results. We will again do it for the safety of our passengers especially this weekend onto the holidays,” DCOTT manager Aisa Usop said.
“The DCOTT is expecting some 80,000 passengers especially this weekend,” she added.
The DCOTT anticipates 1,500 bus trips on a daily basis with a total of 75,000 to 80,000 passengers. To accommodate its surge, there will be a 30-minute interval rule. Once the bus has completed its passenger seats, it will depart immediately for other buses enter.
“We aim to provide good services to our passengers through our effective coordination with the bus operators which will be crucial during the holidays,” she said.
