Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, widely recognized for his steadfast dedication to improving healthcare services, reaffirmed his commitment to public service during the inauguration of a new Super Health Center in San Jose, Batangas, last Monday, 16 December.

With familial roots in Batangas through his Tesoro side, Senator Go, an adopted son of CALABARZON, expressed his heartfelt gratitude and dedication to serving fellow Batangueños.

Situated in Barangay Poblacion 3, the Super Health Center is designed to bring primary healthcare services closer to the residents of San Jose and neighboring communities. The facility aims to improve early disease detection and provide medical consultations and basic healthcare services, particularly in underserved areas lacking adequate medical infrastructure.

Equipped with modern medical tools and staffed by qualified healthcare professionals, the Super Health Center serves as a primary care hub in the grassroots. Its mission is to address health concerns at their onset, reducing the risk of complications and the burden on hospitals.

This initiative is part of a broader national strategy initiated by Senator Go, in collaboration with the Department of Health under Secretary Teodoro “Ted” Herbosa, and local government units. Adequate funding has been secured to establish over 700 Super Health Centers nationwide, including 18 in Batangas alone.

During his visit, Senator Go’s Malasakit Team distributed snacks, grocery packs, shirts and fans to 420 attendees, including barangay health workers, municipal health staff, senior citizens, women’s group leaders and local government employees.
