At least five individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the joint forces of the DDEU and the Valenzuela City Police Station in Barangay Maysan, Valenzuela City on 26 November.

Among the arrested were a couple who owned the house used as a drug den.

The arrested individuals, all residents of Valenzuela City, were alias “Rey,” alias “Daisy,” alias “Bhoy,” alias “Mak” and alias “Angel.” Alias “Rey” is considered a high-value individual.

Police seized approximately 60 grams of suspected shabu worth P408,000, nearly 18 grams of marijuana worth P2,156.40, and several cartridges of marijuana oil vape worth P21,000.

Authorities added that the total value of the seized drug paraphernalia amounted to P431,156.40.

The arrested individuals will face multiple charges related to illegal drugs.
