The Quad Committee of the House of Representatives in connection with the confidential fund of Vice President Sara Duterte and the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operation is now nearing its end.
This was revealed by Manila Representative Bienvenido Abante during his guesting at the media forum of the Manila City Hall Reporters Association (MACHRA) at Harbor View Restaurant on Thursday.
According to Abante, there have been 12 hearings held, and a decision is expected to be made soon.
This is also in line with the order from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to ban all POGOs in the Philippines.
Abante said that what should remain is the investigation surrounding the drug war during President Duterte's administration and the Extra-Judicial Killings (EJK).
Abante stresses that there is still much information coming out during the hearings on the OVP Confidential Fund.
