A delivery rider was nabbed by the operatives of Laoag City Police Station led by Police Lt. Col. Andrew Rabang after a buy-bust sting that led to the confiscation of alleged dried marijuana leaves, stems and seeds on Friday, 29 March.
On the report, the suspect was identified as alias “Korny” and the other, with an alias “Kim", 29 years old, listed under street level individual, and a delivery rider of a courier service and is currently residing at 54-A Lagui Sail, Laoag City.
Confiscated from the suspect are one cellphone box colored white containing two (2) piece heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 6 grams of alleged dried marijuana leaves, stems and seeds including plastic material worth one thousand five hundred pesos with a standard drug price of PhP600.00, which is the buy-bust item, one crumpled paper containing alleged 1 gram of dried marijuana leaves, stems and seeds with SDP of Php100.00 which is in possession of the suspect, and his personal effects.
Just yesterday, PNP Personnel of Laoag City Police Station and the Ilocos Norte Police Provincial Office was able to recover alleged dried marijuana leaves and seeds, from a courier service warehouse located at Vintar Road in Laoag City.
