The '70s and '80s may have long since passed, but the music of the era lives on through the artists who have made the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) sound enduringly popular.
The one-night live concert "OPM Stars," to be staged on 21 February at The Theatre at Solaire, features some of the greatest artists of that era performing their biggest hits, among them Jun Polistico, Leah Navarro, Sampaguita, Anthony Castelo, Gino Padilla, Mon Espia of Labuyo, Male Rigor and Monet Gaskell (formerly from VST and Company).
Sharing the stage with them are fellow OPM hit artists Richard Reynoso, Renz Verano, Rannie Raymundo and Chad Borja, with Wadab singer-songwriters Nonoy Tan and Rey Magtoto.
"OPM Stars" is presented by Zonta Club of Muntinlupa and Environs Foundation, Inc., Zonta Club of Makati Legaspi and Zonta International District 17 Area 5.
