Speaker kicks off Isabela ‘Serbisyo’ fair

The eighth iteration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, which is anticipated to provide residents with P500 million worth of programs and financial assistance, was officially launched in Isabela province on Saturday under the direction of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez.

During the launch at the Isabela Sports Complex in Ilagan City, Romualdez declared the Marcos' administration "is ready to help everyone dreaming of and working for a better life."

According to Romualdez, the administration is aware of the challenges the general public faces in obtaining government services, particularly for those residing in isolated barangays.

Romualdez said the BPSF in Isabela would be the eighth episode of the Serbisyo Caravan and the first in the Cagayan Valley region.

The two-day festival of services is being held by over 36 national government entities that provide over 195 services for at least 100,000 anticipated beneficiaries.

Residents of Isabela would be receiving P152 million in financial assistance. One of the services provided will be through the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation program of DSWD.

The program is estimated to benefit over 42,000 individuals, totaling P140 million, and will be implemented throughout the province in all three cities and 34 municipalities.
