South Korean singer, songwriter and actor JR — also known as Kim Jong-hyun — recently shared how he feels on his upcoming solo debut album, Meridien.
"I was honestly more scared than I was excited," JR told 1st Look magazine. "As I worked on the album, I kept thinking, 'What will my fans think when they hear this?' 'How will they react?'"
He unveiled the track list for his solo mini album where he co-composed two of the songs ("decalcomaine" and "to").
"This is the first album I'm releasing under my name, that I've filed solely with my voice alone," he said. JR was formerly a NU'EST member, which disbanded earlier this year.
JR shared, "Because this is the first solo album I'm releasing since my debut 10 years ago, I worked extremely hard to show the artist Kim Jong-hyun (through the album), including self-composed songs. Please look forward to it."
Meridien will be released on 8 November at 6 p.m. KST. He is set to release a dance performance teaser on 4 October.
Meanwhile, Baekho, also a NU'EST member, announced his plans of making his solo debut.
