Rockwell, Pag-IBIG expand housing access

Rockwell Land Corporation has partnered with Pag-IBIG Fund to expand homeownership opportunities for Filipino workers, offering residential options ranging from affordable housing to premium properties through accessible home financing.
The partnership comes ahead of the 2nd National Housing Expo on 19 and 20 October at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City, where more than 80 developers will showcase housing options under President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (Expanded 4PH) Program.
Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) Secretary and Pag-IBIG Fund Board chairman Jose Ramon P. Aliling said the growing participation of property developers reflects confidence in the government’s housing program.
“By working with DHSUD and Pag-IBIG Fund, we can help more Filipino workers afford quality homes while creating greater opportunities for the housing industry,” Aliling said.
Known for its premium residential developments, Rockwell is expanding its reach to more affordable segments through projects accredited or undergoing accreditation with Pag-IBIG Fund.
Its accredited projects include Stonewell Acacia Homes and Stonewell Mahogany Homes in Sto. Tomas, Batangas.
Two other developments in Lipa, Batangas, are undergoing accreditation: Stonewell Molave Homes, with house-and-lot units starting at P950,000, and Terreno South, an upscale gated community offering lots priced from P4 million to P7 million.
Rockwell is also seeking accreditation for Anahaw Homes in San Antonio, Quezon, where finished house-and-lot units start at P2 million, as well as premium developments including The Grove in Pasig, The Arton in Quezon City, Fordham and Larsen Towers in Sucat, Muntinlupa and BenCab in Angeles City, Pampanga.
Under the agreement, Rockwell will identify participating projects and available units, including ready-for-occupancy properties, and offer preferential prices and incentives to qualified Pag-IBIG members. Pag-IBIG Fund will provide financing, loan counseling and assistance to prospective buyers.
Rockwell president and chief operating officer Valerie L. Soliven said the partnership would make the company’s more than three decades of residential development experience accessible to more Filipino families.
