CAINTA, Rizal — Three suspected drug personalities were arrested after police seized approximately 11.03 grams of suspected shabu valued at P75,004 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Juan on Saturday, 10 October.

The Cainta Municipal Police Station said the operation was conducted at around 2:50 p.m. along Haggai Street in the Exodus Floodway area.

The suspects, identified only by the aliases “Christopher,” “Remege” and “Danny,” were classified by police as street-level individuals.

Operatives from the station's Drug Enforcement Team conducted the operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Police recovered five heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, a coin purse, P1,000 in cash and a P500 bill used as marked money.

The operation was documented using an alternative recording device, according to the police report.

Following their arrest, the suspects were taken to Cainta Municipal Hospital for physical and medical examinations before being brought to the police station.

Police said the suspects would also undergo drug testing at the Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit.

Authorities are preparing complaints for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, before the Rizal Provincial Prosecutor's Office.

The seized substances remain subject to forensic laboratory examination.
