A 38-year-old man listed as the top 7 most wanted person at the station level for violation of Republic Act No. 9165 and frustrated homicide was arrested during a warrant operation in Barangay Pulang Lupa 1, Las Piñas City on Thursday morning, 3 September.
At about 7 a.m., operatives of the station intelligence section of Las Piñas City Police Station, together with the warrant and subpoena section, served the warrants of arrest at the suspect’s residence.
The suspect, identified only by the alias Kurimaw, was arrested by virtue of warrants issued by the Regional Trial Courts of Naic and Bacoor, Cavite.
The warrants were issued for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and frustrated homicide, with recommended bail set at P24,000 for the latter case.
The arrested person is currently detained at the custodial facility of Las Piñas City Police Station pending the issuance of the appropriate commitment order by the issuing court.
