A man was arrested after allegedly stealing the radiator of a police officer’s car outside a repair shop on Mayon Street in Barangay Maharlika, Quezon City.

According to Quezon City Police District Station 1, the police officer had brought his vehicle to a repair shop to have its damaged radiator fixed.

The officer, whose name was withheld, said he briefly left the radiator outside the shop. When he returned, he discovered that it was missing.

The victim sought help from fellow police officers patrolling the area, resulting in the suspect’s arrest and recovery of the allegedly stolen radiator.

Police said verification showed that the suspect had previous records and had been arrested for alleged violations of Republic Act 10501 and illegal gambling.
