Mapua University - Manila ranked first among the top performing schools in the Sanitary Engineers computer-based Licensure Exam (SELE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday, 27 August.
Mapua University posted a 96 percentage passing rate, with 24 of its 25 examinees passing the licensure exam.
PRC announced that 102 of 141 examinees passed, resulting in an overall passing rate of 72.34 percent.
The SELE was conducted on 24-26 August 2026, in NCR, Baguio, Cebu, Rosales, and Tuguegarao. The Board of Sanitary Engineering is headed by its Chairman, Engr. Robert S. Licup, and its members, Engr. Anthony Jerome M. Lara and Engr. Graciano B. Calayan, Jr.
Batangas State University - Alangilan ranked second with a 84 percentage passing rate, followed by National University - Manila with 83.33 percentage. University of Baguio ranked fourth with 80 percent passing rate.
