Police arrested a street-level drug suspect and seized more than P72,000 worth of suspected shabu following the execution of a court-issued search warrant in Barangay Napindan, Taguig City on Monday night.
The suspect—identified as alias Jeffrey, 35, unemployed, and a resident of Barangay Napindan, Taguig City–was arrested at approximately 7:06 p.m. on 24 August 2026.
Joint personnel of the Taguig City Police Station executed the search warrant issued by Executive Judge Loralie Cruz Datahan of Taguig City Regional Trial Court Branch 69, at the suspect’s residence.
During the search, police seized ten heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing approximately 10.6 grams, with an estimated standard drug price value of P72,080.
Also recovered were a digital weighing scale and a black pouch believed to have been used to store the illegal drugs.
The suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights and turned over to the Taguig City Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit for proper documentation.
A complaint for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, is being prepared for filing against him.
