The Department of Justice (DoJ) has begun updating its core mission and strategic direction to prepare for the formulation of its 2027-2033 Development Plan.
Department officials and leaders recently gathered at the Diamond Hotel Manila for a strategic review session titled “Revisiting the DoJ Vision, Mission, and Core Values.” The event was sponsored by the European Union-funded Governance in Justice (EU-GO JUST) program.
DoJ officials said the session aimed to align the department's core values and long-term goals with its legal mandate to ensure the delivery of fair, accessible, and effective justice.
The review establishes a foundational framework for DoJ programs in the coming years and serves as an initial step toward drafting the seven-year development plan.
