Department of Justice (DoJ) Senior Undersecretary Raul T. Vasquez led a high-level strategic consultation meeting with the National Prosecution Service in Region XI to address operational challenges and improve the delivery of prosecution services across the Davao Region.

Vasquez met with Deputy Regional Prosecutor Karl Andre G. Salcedo, along with chief officials from city and provincial prosecution offices across the region, to review operational bottlenecks and align regional actions with central policy mandates.

The dialogue also convened regional leaders from key DoJ-attached agencies, including the Public Attorney’s Office, the Parole and Probation Administration, and the Land Registration Authority, reflecting a broader effort under the Marcos administration to enhance inter-agency coordination within the justice sector.

Discussions focused on eliminating institutional barriers among frontline legal, corrective, and administrative services to build a more responsive legal framework at the local level.

In a statement supporting the regional engagement, Justice Secretary Fredderick A. Vida stressed the department’s commitment to extending administrative support beyond its main headquarters in Manila.
