  • Several sea voyages have been canceled Wednesday due to tropical depression “Neneng” and the effects of the southwest monsoon (habagat), Radyo ng Pilipinas reports.

    According to an advisory issued by the Philippine Coast Guard at the Port Management Office in Batangas, Island Water trips to Abra de Ilog have been canceled.

    In the Bicol Region, Starhorse Shipping Lines has suspended trips between San Andres, Quezon, and both San Pascual, Masbate and Pasacao Port (including return trips).

    All voyages of vessels with a gross tonnage of 15 or less in Culion, Palawan, have also been canceled.

    In Mindoro, all trips at the Port of Lubang have been suspended, as well as the voyage of MV Bunso Ferry 2 from San Jose to Coron.

    Meanwhile, the trip of MV Lite Ferry 11 from Nasipit to Jagna has also been canceled due to a steering system issue.
