Tabaco City — K-Logistikus Philippines has expanded its nationwide footprint with the opening of a new cross-dock hub here to strengthen distribution capabilities across the Bicol Region.
The 1,500-square-meter facility, strategically located along the Tabaco-Ligao Road, is designed to improve regional connectivity, accelerate the movement of goods, and extend logistics services into one of the country's key economic corridors.
"Bicol is an important growth corridor, and strengthening our presence in the region allows us to better support the evolving needs of businesses and the communities they serve," said Sulficio O. Tagud Jr., president and CEO of K-Logistikus Philippines.
"Our new cross-dock hub enables us to move products closer to key markets, shorten delivery lead times, and respond more quickly to customer demand," Tagud added.
"More importantly, it strengthens our ability to provide dependable, demand-driven logistics solutions that help our partners improve operational efficiency and achieve sustainable growth."
The facility serves as a distribution gateway for Camarines Sur, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, and Masbate.
With a capacity for up to 20 outbound trucks daily, the hub is situated near major retail centers and transport routes to speed up the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods and improve access to nearby island provinces.
Operated by the company's contract logistics and cross-dock teams, the hub streamlines cargo handling, inventory movement, and distribution from inbound receipt to final delivery.
By positioning inventory closer to customers, the facility aims to shorten replenishment cycles, optimize delivery schedules, and reduce operating costs for businesses.
Company officials said the new hub marks another milestone in K-Logistikus' nationwide expansion, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy and commitment to helping businesses build resilient supply chains.
