    • Marcos Jr. SWS survey

The Social Weather Stations (SWS) said President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s satisfaction rating has recovered to neutral territory after an earlier poor showing, but continues to trail Vice President Sara Duterte.

Based on the Second Quarter 2026 SWS, conducted from 20 to 29 June of 1,200 adults nationwide, 42 percent said they were satisfied with Marcos’ performance.

The survey found that 17 percent were neither satisfied nor dissatisfied, while 40 percent were dissatisfied, giving Marcos a net satisfaction rating of +1 percentage point, which SWS classified as neutral (+9 to -9).

“This is a 14-point recovery from the poor -13 in March 2026, which was a record low for the Marcos Jr. administration, and the lowest in 16 years since the bad -45 in March 2010 under the Arroyo administration. The June 2026 rating nonetheless remained below the moderate +14 in November 2025,” SWS said in a statement Wednesday.

Despite the improvement, Marcos’ satisfaction rating remained well below Duterte’s.

In the same survey, Duterte registered a 58-percent satisfaction rating, with 26 percent dissatisfied, giving her a “good” net satisfaction rating of +31 points.

Separately, Duterte’s public trust rating remained steady at 57 percent, even as 70 percent of respondents said she should address the impeachment allegations against her.

Compared with March 2026, satisfaction with the Marcos administration improved the most in ensuring that no family would go hungry, rising by 14 points from a moderate +12 to a moderate +26.
