Riot Games is marking the sixth anniversary of League of Legends: Wild Rift with one of the game’s biggest update cycles yet, featuring new champions, gameplay improvements, nostalgic game modes and community events.
Since Patch 7.2 launched in July, players have gained access to the redesigned Enchantments System, ranked progression improvements, and updates to core gameplay aimed at delivering a fairer and more competitive experience.
The anniversary celebration also introduced Norra and the updated Ahri, alongside new skins, including the Weather Deity and Summer Party collections. More content is on the way, with Cho’Gath arriving on 7 August, Crystal Rose on 14 August, and the return of AAA ARAM Classic as part of the Classic Moment event.
Players can also participate in Echoes on the Rift, which rewards those who link their League of Legends and Wild Rift accounts, while Annie-versary pays tribute to the game’s original reveal stream.
The updates will also be showcased in Wild Rounds: Pilipinas Split 2, where the country’s top teams compete using the latest champions and gameplay changes on the road to SMASH.
