Around P1.34 million worth of suspected shabu was seized while two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested in an anti-drug operation in Barangay Pulong Sampalok, Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan on 30 July.
The Police Regional Office 3 said the operation was conducted at around 7:30 p.m. by personnel from the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit and the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
Arrested suspects identified only as “Marivic” and “Rey,” both classified as HVIs, were found in possession of about 197 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P1,339,600.
Authorities also recovered the marked buy-bust money, a gray bag allegedly used in the transaction, and an orange Honda Giorno motorcycle believed to have been used in the suspects’ illegal activities.
PRO3 director PBGen. Jess B. Mendez said the operation highlights the police force’s continuing campaign to disrupt the supply chain of illegal drugs and dismantle distribution networks in the region.
