Around P1.34 million worth of suspected shabu wete seized while two High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested during an anti-drug operation at Barangay Pulong Sampalok in the town of Doña Remedios Trinidad, Bulacan on 30 July 2026.
According to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), the joint anti-drug operation was carried out at around 7:30 p.m. by operatives of the Doña Remedios Trinidad Municipal Police Station's Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) and the Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The two arrested suspects "Marivic" and "Rey," both identified as High-Value Individuals, were found in possession of around 197 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of P1,339,600.00.
Police also recovered the marked buy-bust money, a gray bag used during the transaction, and an orange Honda Giorno motorcycle believed to have been utilized in the suspects' illegal activities.
PRO3 Director PBGEN Jess B Mendez said the successful operation demonstrates the region's sustained efforts to cut off the supply of illegal drugs and dismantle the networks behind their distribution.
