Eastern Police District (EPD) operatives tracked down and arrested its top 8 most wanted person linked to rape and sexual assault in Pasig City.

The suspect—identified only by the alias Jimmy, 47—was cornered by operatives from the EPD’s District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB) at around 2:55 p.m. on Friday directly in front of Steel Centre Philippines in Barangay Manggahan, Pasig City.

The arrest was executed by virtue of a judicial warrant issued on 24 June 2026 by Judge of Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 12.

The suspect faces criminal charges for rape by sexual assault, with bail set at P200,000.

The charges stemmed from a harrowing incident last February of the current year in Barangay Manggahan, Pasig City, where the suspect allegedly took advantage of an eight-year-old girl while she was visiting his residence.

Following the incident, the young victim courageously disclosed the assault to her mother, triggering an immediate effort by the family to seek police assistance.

However, the family faced initial hesitation after being met with veiled threats and false claims aimed at discouraging them from reporting the crime. Overcoming their fear and anxiety, and steadfast in their resolve to protect their child, the family formally sought police intervention, prompting an investigation that ultimately led to the issuance of the warrant.

The suspect was immediately escorted to the DMFB Intelligence Office for formal booking and documentation.

He was brought to the Rizal Medical Center for a mandatory physical examination before being turned over to the custodial facility of the Pasig City Police Station for temporary custody pending further court directives.
