  • The Supreme Court (SC) has trained more than 1,000 judges, clerks of court, legal researchers, stenographers and other court personnel nationwide under its Gender Sensitivity Training program to foster inclusivity across the Philippine judiciary, officials said.

The announcement follows the completion of the program’s seventh leg, held in Bacolod City from 6 to 9 July, which drew more than 300 court employees.

Organized by the Supreme Court’s Committee on Gender Responsiveness in the Judiciary and the Philippine Judicial Academy, the training initiative launched in 2025 as part of the Supreme Court’s Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations 2022–2027.

Previous training sessions have taken place in General Santos, Cagayan de Oro, Baguio, Legazpi, Panglao and Subic.
