  • Rising Thai-British actor Tate Myron is bringing a fresh kind of star power to the entertainment scene, blending classic matinee idol charm with the authenticity and ambition of a new generation.

With his natural charisma, undeniable screen presence and grounded personality, Tate is steadily carving his own path as one of the faces to watch.

More than just a rising heartthrob, Tate Myron represents a new era of young talent built on passion, purpose and staying true to who he is.

“Health is the core of everything I do as an actor,” Tate told DAILY TRIBUNE. Beyond staying fit, he believes that wellness is about caring for his overall well-being. “It’s also about rest, mental health and finding balance.”

Born in Dublin and now based in Bangkok, the 22-year-old Thai-British actor carries a quiet confidence that sets him apart. As a Capricorn born on 27 December 2003, Tate reflects the sign’s qualities of discipline, ambition and responsibility. Whether preparing for a role, attending events, or connecting with fans, his focused and grounded mindset remains clear.

For Tate, discipline comes from having a clear purpose and staying committed to the habits that keep him grounded.

“I think discipline, for me, comes from having a clear sense of purpose. I try to keep simple routines that ground me, even when I’m in different places,” he said.

The rising matinee idol believes in trusting the journey and growing at his own pace. “Focus on growing at your own pace and building confidence in who you are,” Tate shared.

From rising talent to breakout star

Tate has steadily built his name in the entertainment industry, expanding his acting portfolio while becoming a sought-after face for brand collaborations.

His acting journey began in 2020 with a supporting role in the drama XYZ. From there, he continued to take on bigger opportunities, eventually stepping into leading roles in the novel-based Dhevaprom dramas.

One of his biggest breakthroughs came in 2024 with Dhevaprom: Jaipisut, where he portrayed Police Captain M.L. Ronnajak Juthathep. The role introduced Tate to a wider audience and highlighted his ability to bring depth and charm to his characters. His on-screen chemistry with Oom Eisaya Hosuwan also became a major talking point among fans, inspiring countless edits and online celebrations of their pairing.

Then, in April this year, Tate showcased another side of his acting range through the historical romance drama Whisper of Desire. Playing the personal driver of his boss’s wife, portrayed by “Perth” Veerinsara Tangkitsuvanich, Tate’s character finds himself caught in a complicated love triangle.

The role allowed Tate to move beyond his familiar boy-next-door image, revealing a more mature and charismatic presence. From emotional scenes to moments filled with charm and confidence, he proved his versatility as an actor ready to take on more complex roles.

Beyond acting, Tate continues to expand his influence through meaningful partnerships. Recently, he visited Manila, Philippines, where he worked with health and wellness brand IAM Worldwide after being named its new Youth Ambassador, following K-Pop group AHOF.
