The Pasig City Police Station arrested two top most wanted persons listed by the National Capital Region Police Office and the Eastern Police District.

On Wednesday, 8 July, at about 1 p.m. operatives of the Pasig City Police Station Intelligence Section, together with personnel from the 2nd Northern Samar PMFC, PCG-IDMS, RIU, NCR-EDIT, and NISG-NCR, conducted a manhunt operation in Barangay Bugay, Las Navas, Northern Samar.

The operation resulted in the arrest of alias Egieboy Mortifero, listed as the number 4 top most wanted person of NCRPO, and alias Ronnie, the number 9 top most wanted person of Eastern Police District.

The accused were arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 152 for the crime of homicide, with no bail recommended.

The two most wanted persons are accused for involvement in a stabbing incident on 20 May 2023 in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City, which resulted in the death of a 50-year-old male victim.
