ISPSC students, graduates complete DSWD cash-for-work program in Ilocos Sur

A total of 271 students and graduates of the Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) completed the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 1's KALAHI-CIDSS Cash-for-Work (CFW) Program after rendering 25 days of service in various government offices across Ilocos Sur.
During the program's culminating activity and payout on June 30, each beneficiary who successfully completed the work engagement received ₱12,625 in compensation.
The participants were deployed to various offices of ISPSC, local government units, municipal police stations, the Department of Education (DepEd), and the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). College graduates rendered eight hours of work per day, while college students completed four-hour daily shifts.
In addition to temporary employment and financial assistance, the beneficiaries attended a career guidance seminar aimed at equipping them with skills and knowledge to prepare for future employment opportunities.
The KALAHI-CIDSS Cash-for-Work Program provides short-term income support while enabling participants to gain practical work experience in government offices.
