'Art for Everyone' returns to SM City Baguio

BAGUIO CITY — More than 140 Baguio-based visual artists are showcasing over 1,000 artworks at the 3rd Art for Everyone exhibit, which opened at SM City Baguio on 28 June.
The exhibit runs until 10 July and aims to give local artists greater exposure to art enthusiasts, residents and tourists.
In his welcome remarks, SM City Baguio Mall Manager Jerico Bernardo paid tribute to the participating artists and reaffirmed the mall's commitment to supporting the local art community.
"We will always open our doors and provide a home for local and aspiring artists to showcase their creativity," Bernardo said.
The exhibit features works by members of the Baguio Arts Guild, Pasakalye Group of Artists, and Tam-awan Artists Village. Renowned artists Roland Bay-an and Brenda Subido-Dacpano are among those participating.
City Tourism Officer Alec Mapalo described the event as the city's biggest art market, saying the venue offers artists unmatched visibility.
"SM City Baguio is among the top crowd-drawing destinations in the city, attracting both residents and tourists. Imagine the exposure our artists can get by showcasing their talents and creativity here," Mapalo said.
