De La Salle University’s Carlos L. Tiu School of Economics has partnered with the Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) to pioneer the country’s first academic hub dedicated to competition law and economics.
The strategic partnership was formalized through the signing of a memorandum of agreement Tuesday at the PCC office in Quezon City.
Under the agreement, DLSU becomes the first higher education institution in the country to host a PCC Academic Hub. The initiative aims to increase awareness of competition policy, co-develop evidence-based research, and train future leaders in the field.
The partnership will include visiting research fellowships, faculty exchanges, student activities and mutual capacity-building between the two institutions.
