ICTSI NorthPort upgrades Pier 16 facilities
Pier 16 rehabilitation has continued since April, covering the initial 40-meter section within a 100-meter work zone; dynamic load testing on newly installed piles confirmed that the structures meet required engineering and safety standards, allowing the project to proceed on schedule.
PIER 16, the designated docking area at the north end of Manila North Harbour, is a vital subsection of Northport, which is operated by International Container Terminal Services Inc.- subsidiary Manila North Harbour Port. It is used by inter-island shipping operators, cargo vessels, and major logistics firms to load and unload goods.
