CATARMAN, Northern Samar — A 25-year-old murder suspect wanted in Quezon City was arrested in a joint law enforcement operation in Las Navas, Northern Samar on 13 February.
Police said the suspect, believed to have links to the communist New People’s Army, had gone into hiding after a murder case was filed against him in Quezon City. He is listed as the second most wanted person in Northern Samar and third in Quezon City.
The arrest was carried out by the 2nd Northern Samar Provincial Mobile Force Company, working with the Cubao Police Station of the Quezon City Police District, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Regional Special Operations Unit, Las Navas Municipal Police Station, and troops from the Army’s 19th Infantry Battalion.
Authorities served a warrant of arrest issued by an NCR trial court for murder, with no bail recommended.
