ISABELA — Lulette Jane Ramilo-De Guzman, runner-up at Miss Earth Philippines 2013, was reportedly shot in San Manuel, Isabela, on 13 February 2026.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the shooting and identify the person responsible. As of this writing, no further details about the circumstances of the incident have been released.
Relatives, local officials, and pageant organizers condemned the killing and called for justice. Messages of condolence poured in for her family following the incident.
Ramilo-De Guzman was also named Miss Photogenic at the 2014 Aliwan Fiesta. During the event, she represented the Bambanti Festival, highlighting the Bato Art Festival of Luna, in the street dancing competition.
