Eight decades in the air, and Ethiopian Airlines is marking the milestone with a number that matches: up to 80 percent off.
The Addis Ababa–based carrier is offering the discount in Economy Class base fares from Singapore to a slate of long-haul destinations across Africa and South America.
The booking window runs until 26 February, with travel valid through 14 June.
The sale aligns with the Serengeti's Great Migration calving season, Victoria Falls at high water and summer in Cape Town and Buenos Aires.
Eligible routes from Singapore include Johannesburg, Nairobi, Kilimanjaro, Seychelles, Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, among others.
Tickets are available via the airline's website, mobile app and authorized agents, terms applied.
Passengers departing Singapore Changi Airport during the promotional period will receive a Lunar New Year–themed gift at the gate, a nod to the Year of the Horse.
