Discaya’s Rolls-Royce sold for P29M to Igorot Stone Kingdom

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has generated P29.026 million from the public auction of a forfeited 2023 Rolls‑Royce Cullinan on 11 February, Wednesday.

The 2023 Rolls-Royce Cullinan was sold to Igorot Stone Kingdom Inc. for P29.026 million, with the company’s representative citing support for government revenue generation as one of the key reasons for participating in and securing the vehicle.

Including the winning bid and collected registration fees from participating bidders, the public auction generated total proceeds of P29,041,150.

During the auction, Deputy Commissioner Atty. Agaton Teodoro Uvero highlighted the Bureau’s dedication to enforcing the law diligently, ensuring that recovered assets are properly handled, and conducting operations in a transparent and accountable manner.

“This is how enforcement creates value—not for a few, but for the many. This is how we turn violations into restitution, and seizures into resources for nation building,” he said.

Including the most recent sale and previous public auctions of vehicles linked to the Discaya case, the BOC has generated a cumulative total of P76,803,560 in revenues. This reflects the Bureau’s continued commitment to lawful asset recovery and transparent disposition. All proceeds are remitted to the National Treasury to support government programs and priority public services for the benefit of the Filipino people.

The BOC said it continues to prioritize the disposition of seized vehicles through public auction rather than condemnation, ensuring maximum revenue recovery and support for national development.

The Bureau will announce the schedule of the next public auction covering other seized luxury vehicles and additional assets as part of its continuing transparent disposal program.
