PHLPost expands nationwide presence to strengthen last-mile delivery

The Philippine Postal Corporation is expanding its nationwide footprint as it reinforces its mandate as the country’s last-mile delivery service provider, opening new post offices and postal stations in both urban centers and remote communities.

PHLPost said the newly opened facilities include the Macrohon Post Office at the municipal hall in Barangay San Vicente (Poblacion), Macrohon; the Matina Davao City Post Office along General Douglas MacArthur Highway in Matina Crossing, Davao City; the Limasawa Island Post Office in Limasawa; and the Baco Postal Station in the municipality of Baco.

The branch openings are part of the corporation’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its nationwide network and ensure that essential postal and logistics services reach Filipinos in geographically isolated and underserved areas.

PHLPost said the expansion underscores its role as the country’s primary last-mile delivery partner by extending services beyond major urban hubs and into far-flung communities.

Under the leadership of Acting Postmaster General Maximo Sta. Maria III, the corporation said the focus of the expansion is not only on increasing the number of facilities but also on improving access to government services and enhancing reliability at the community level.

Each newly opened post office and postal station brings core services closer to residents, including mail and parcel delivery, express mail services, Postal ID processing, and other related offerings that support daily transactions, local commerce, and continuity of public services.

PHLPost said it continues to modernize its operations and strengthen its delivery network while staying aligned with its mission of connecting people, businesses, and government services. Through the expansion of its physical presence and service capabilities, the corporation aims to support inclusive growth and national development by ensuring that postal services remain accessible nationwide.
