Popular actress and singer Maris Racal is set to take center stage at Newport World Resorts on 31 January as the special guest headliner for the Casino Plus Second Baccarat Tournament Grand Finals.
Racal, the official brand ambassador for the online gaming platform, will deliver a live performance and lead the awarding ceremony for a tournament featuring a record-breaking P52 million total prize pool.
The event marks the culmination of a months-long competition that began online in September 2025.
As the "face" of the event, Racal will witness the crowning of a new champion who is set to take home P30 million—a payout approximately six times higher than previous local baccarat benchmarks.
"What makes this tournament special is how it seamlessly bridges the online excitement our players love with an elevated in-person championship experience," said Evan Spytma, CEO of Casino Plus.
The event is designed as a high-end leisure experience for qualified VIP players and finalists. The participants, who earned their spots through monthly online rounds and a "Wild Card" showdown in December, will be treated to five-star accommodations and refined dining ahead of the finals.
The public, aged 21 and older, is invited to watch the championship moment live on 31 January, where Racal will present the trophies to the top finishers.
To maintain the integrity of the high-stakes game, all finalists must compete in person, with strict verification and "Know Your Customer" protocols in place.
