'Kpop Demon Hunters' earns two Oscar nominations

The animated feature K-Pop Demon Hunters has received two Academy Award nominations, for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for "Golden."

The film, which follows a team of K-pop idols who double as demon hunters, has been praised for its dazzling animation, intricate choreography, and a killer soundtrack blending traditional K-pop hooks with orchestral intensity.

Also nominated for the Best Animated Feature are: Arco, Elio, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain and Zootopia 2.

The other nominees for Best Original Song are: “Dear Me” from Diane Warren: Relentless, “I Lied to You” from Sinners, “Sweet Dreams Of Joy” from Viva Verdi!, and “Train Dreams” from Train Dreams.

Speculation is heating up about whether K-Pop Demon Hunters will pull off a historic double win.
