DTI updates list of approved fireworks brands

The Department of Trade and Industry–Bureau of Philippine Standards (DTI-BPS) released an updated list of fireworks with valid Philippine Standard (PS) certification
As of 26 December 2025, the list identifies licensed manufacturers and approved brands that comply with safety and quality standards, serving as a guide for consumers in selecting certified fireworks for the holiday season.
The following manufacturers and their brands are issued with a valid Philippine Standards (PS) Certification Mark License:

Q-1253: Dragon Fireworks Incorporated - Dragon Fireworks
Q-5708: Dreamlight Fireworks Manufacturing - Dreamlight Fireworks
Q-6482: F.R.T Fireworks - FRT
Q-5443: JPL Manufacturing Fireworks - JPL Fireworks
Q-1903: Legendary Fireworks Inc. - LF Fireworks
Q-5248: Maribel Sta. Ana Fireworks - Maribel Sta. Ana Fireworks
Q-1388 Nation Fireworks - Nation
Q-1352: Pyro Kreations Fireworks - Pyro Kreations
Q-4667: Star Light Fireworks - Star Light
DTI-BPS also reiterated safety reminders, urging the public to check for the PS Quality Mark and license number, buy only from licensed sellers, and strictly follow usage instructions to prevent fireworks-related accidents.
1. Check for the Philippine Standard (PS) Mark along with a License Number.
2. Buy only from licensed manufacturers. Avoid generic fireworks without labels identifying the manufacturer.
3. Always read and follow the instructions before use.
4. If in doubt about safety, don't use the firework.
5. Do not pick up fireworks that have failed to explode.
6. Keep windows and doors closed to block stray fireworks.
7. Stand at a safe spectator distance.
8. Do not pull pranks or scare people.
9. Use a long pole to ignite from a safe distance.
10. Protect your eyes by wearing goggles or glasses. Wear cotton or denim clothing, as synthetic materials like polyester are not recommended. Wear shoes rather than slippers to protect your feet.
11. Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby to extinguish any accidental fires.
12. Have a first aid kit ready for burns.
