Two suspects were arrested by operatives of the Southern Police District following a stabbing incident in Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City, early Thursday morning, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
The suspects, identified only as alias Raymond, 26, and alias Jerome, 20, were apprehended by responding officers of the Tunasan Police Sub-station under the Muntinlupa City Police Station shortly after the attack.
Police said the victim, a 23-year-old man identified as alias Jon Prix, sustained multiple stab wounds following a dispute that allegedly started over a loud motorcycle muffler. He was rushed to Ospital ng Muntinlupa, where he is currently receiving medical treatment.
The suspects remain under police custody and were brought to the station for documentation before being transferred to the SIDMS Office for proper disposition and the filing of appropriate charges.
Southern Police District Director Randy Ygay Arceo, a police brigadier general, commended the Tunasan Police Sub-station for its swift response and successful follow-up operation.
He added that the district is coordinating with the courts regarding standing warrants that were discovered during the processing of the suspects.
