The Philippine Stock Exchange, Inc. (PSE) welcomed close to 40 finalists of the Department of Migrant Worker's (DMW) 3rd Linangin ang Kakayahan sa Kabuhayan Award (LIKHA) Business Plan Competition on December 11, 2025. LIKHA Global Series is an entrepreneurship and sustainable reintegration program of DMW.
The finalists, who are land-based Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), had a tour of the Exchange and a stock market briefing with one of the PSE-accredited trading participants. The visit was capped off by a cocktail reception, which gave the OFWs based in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, the opportunity to connect and network.
The educational tour is among the activities covered by the PSE and DMW partnership, which aims to promote financial literacy to OFWs. The partnership was formalized in February 2024.
