

The province is ready for the opening of the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional (APR) Scout Jamboree that will held at the Camp Kainomayan at Barangay San Juan in the town of Botolan, Zambales on 15 December 2025.
According to Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., thousands of scouting delegations from the various countries in the Asia Pacific Region will take part in the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree, citing that this will be the biggest international scouting event in the country.
He added that the Provincial Government has already conducted safety and security inspections to ensure the safety of the international delegates inside the campsite area. The Provincial Government has also assured that the infrastructures are up to par with international standards for the event.
The inspection was conducted along with the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), Provincial Engineering Office, and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, as part of a closer coordination between various government agencies.
The 33rd APR Jamboree is hosted by the Boy Scouts of the Philippines from December 14-21, 2025, with the theme “Be Prepared: Scouts for Peace and Sustainable Development,” bringing together thousands of Scouts for adventure, learning, and international friendship.
Participants in the Asia Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree include male and female Scouts aged 12–17, their Scout Leaders, and relevant DepEd officials. For the 33rd APR Scout Jamboree, a Scout troop is structured with four patrols of nine Scouts each, plus an adult leader.
