Vice President Sara Duterte joked with supporters about reaching senior status and a fond moment with former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

In the video, she shared that they vowed to use their senior citizen cards at the same time, but the former president received his first since she is still a long way from becoming a senior citizen.

“Sabi ko sa kanya, antayin mo ako kasi gusto ko gamitin natin senior citizen card natin sabay,” she said.

(“I told him to wait for me because I want us to use our senior citizen cards at the same time.”)

The former president is currently in detention at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, awaiting trial for charges related to his war on drugs campaign.
