The Office of the Vice President (OVP) on Thursday said the Commission on Audit’s (COA) Annual Audit Report for 2024 found “no findings of loss or wastage of government funds or property.”
In a statement, the OVP noted that all issues raised were “primarily administrative in nature,” and that management has agreed to implement all recommendations to address the observations for 2024.
The audit observations and recommendations were discussed with OVP management officials during an exit conference on 16 May 2025.
On 1 December 2025, COA published the executive summary and full report of the OVP’s Annual Audit Report for 2024. The audit covered the agency’s accounts and operations for the year, with the Auditor’s Report dated 16 May 2025.
The OVP also highlighted that COA rendered an unmodified opinion on the fairness of the presentation of its 31 December 2024 financial statements.
“An unmodified opinion is the highest level of assurance, meaning the financial statements are presented fairly in all material respects,” the OVP said.
