A former member of the Alyansa ng mga Magbubukid sa Gitnang Luzon-Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (AMGL-KMP) surrendered to the Pampanga police at Barangay Malauli in Masantol, Pampanga, on 18 November 2025.

According to Pampanga Police Provincial Office (PPPO) Director Police Col. Eugene Marcelo, the 62-year-old former member of a communist terrorist group voluntarily turned himself in to authorities and handed over a hand grenade.

The former member personally appeared before operating units and expressed his intention to withdraw support from the organization.

The operation was carried out through a joint effort led by the Pampanga 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) under Force Commander Police Lt. Col. San Juan Felmar D. Aquino, with support from the Masantol MPS, 2nd PMFC, Macabebe MPS, Minalin MPS, Porac MPS, and Florida Blanca MPS.

The surrendered individual is currently in the custody of Pampanga 1st PMFC for documentation. The unit also extended basic assistance, including food packs and financial support.

“The Pampanga Police Provincial Office remains committed to promoting peace and security through lawful interventions and continuous collaboration with communities,” Director Marcelo said.
