BAGUIO CITY — With even small amounts proving enough to land some people in jail, especially this nearing Christmas season, five grocery store employees have been charged with theft along Leonard Wood Road.
According to a report from Baguio City Police Station 3, the suspects — a 35-year-old female, a 32-year-old male, a 44-year-old female, a 48-year-old female, and one other female — allegedly hid groceries, fish, and meat in a vacant cubicle and the restroom of the establishment.
The total value of the merchandise they attempted to steal reached P6,292.
The incident occurred on the morning of 27 October 2025 but was only reported to BCPO Station 3 on 18 November. The police did not disclose the current location of the suspects. A complaint has been filed, and the case is awaiting a hearing.
